The Order of the Phoenix is gathering again. The war against the dark wizard Grindewald seems minor to what is advancing now. A new Dark Lord is on the rise, ready to kill all the mudbloods out of his way, and become the greatest sorcerer in the world. He is getting more followers by the day and getting stronger with each passing month, Spies are getting bolder and are more of them then ever seen before in Hogwarts alone. But will he succeed? Make sure that you destroy him, together with the Order, or be doomed to get killed by his hand.
MM, let's go backinto the past;;
Month
November
Remember, remember the 5th of November
Guy Fawkes tried to blow up parliament and so, every year on the date of his death, we continue to condemn him (or celebrate him depending on your point of view) to his fiery hell by placing a replica of Guy on top of a huge pile of wood and then setting it on fire. We have some drinks, enjoy ourselves and then watch the sky as fireworks fill our eyes. So yeah . . . just another excuse for a party! Wooooo!!
Points people! Points! A new school year and new points to add!! Congratulations to SLYTHERIN! For winning last years school cup!
And well done to the ORDER! For fending off those Death Eater attacks!
Now lets see what next year holds for us all!
Revamping much?
If any of your on going threads get moved by mistake just PM Cissa, Meda, Lena or Dorcy, and we'll be able to get your topic back in a jiffy!

&& Broaden it up One Word To Describe Your Character: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Likes: Attitude Aromatherapy Good night out Quiet night in Cute Guys Funny Guys Bad Guys Sweet Guys Most Guys Gentlemen Speaking Listening Joking Dislikes: Spineless gits Sloppy people Sleazy guys Pure-blood-mania Being judged Overall Personality: Misleading. A person's personality is hard to have written out before you, but misleading is certainly one word that describes Dorcas' personality. Slytherin's are usually out for number one, looking after themselves first and usually just not caring about others at all. But Dorcas isn't like that. Yes she has the common sense to get away from a fight if one's brewing and there's a fear she could get involved in said fight, but half the time she'd be the one trying to stop the fight.
Dorcas is a lover, not a fighter unless necessary. Though a few harmless threats here and there never hurt anyone. Not really.
Like most teenagers Dorcas has a stubborn streak, however, this does not last long. She also holds grudges for about twelve hours before completely forgetting about them. Her memory isn't the greatest but she remembers what she has to and never forgets anything important.
Not having cried since she was eleven, Dorcas has given herself an image of being very strong willed and never backing down - something that ties in with her stubbornness, especially if it's for the right cause. Unlike most teenagers though Dorcas tends to listen to all sides of the stories before making any decisions on what she wants to do. At the moment she has a pretty big decision to be making. Death Eaters, the Order or just staying out of it. Of course, staying out of it would perceive her as a spineless git and she hates spineless gits so naturally she is determined to pick a side. She could fall in either category but her overwhelming sense of right and wrong leads her to have to tread cautious grounds when she shares a dorm with those that believe Voldemort is doing the right thing.
Many aspects of Dorcas' personality changes depending on whom she is around and what situation she is in. Which is what happens for most people. When surrounded with friends and people she feels comfortable with she's loud and out going, determined, daring, untameable and flirtatious.
When she's around people she doesn't feel quite as comfortable with she can become a little more reserved and cautious.
When with people she holds one of her rare, long-time grudges against she can become bitchy as hell, snippish, snappy, rude, self-centered and pretty cruel. Though it is rare to see that side of her but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist somewhere deep down. Or sometimes just bubbling on the surface after a frustrating day.
Appearance: Standing at five foot six inches Dorcas weighs in at around 115 pounds (eight stone two pounds or fifty-two kilograms 200 grams). A curvy figure and a few muscles gives Dorcas a powerful punch when she needs one - slaps are for amateurs too scared to break a nail.
Dorcas' nails are keep short and filed so when she heads down to the Quidditch Pitch for a little bit of fun with some friends, she doesn't scratch anyone's eye out. She's not on the house team, but she is down on the pitch often enough and plays about even on her own. She doesn't support a team but has a passion for the game itself, which is why her dark lack hair is usually tied up and out of the way on most days so that if she gets the urge for a game of Quidditch, or just a fly about on a broom, her hair doesn't get blown about in her face.
There's nothing more aggravating than when a strand of hair goes into her full, rosy lips that she usually covers with dark lipstick, or her dark brown eyes that she views the world through, usually accompanied by a light browny beige eyeshadow and mascara.
Her nose is just that. A nose. There's no little quirks about it, no definitions on it and it's well proportioned to the rest of her face. Not like some people you see that wander around with either an upturned nose, or a massive bulging nose. Nope, her nose was perfectly normal from her point of view. Just like her chin. She thought that was pretty normal too, rounded at the tip and giving her face a great structure at the bottom.
Her ears however were never good. A little secret that she held was that when she was about twelve, she had her ears magically adjusted so they didn't stick out so much. Of course, it was done over the summer holidays and by the time they were all back at school no one noticed. Or at least, no one said anything to her.
Dorcas has a slightly longer neck than most people, but it's not exactly noticeable. It's paler that her face but not significantly. Besides, the majority of the time she applies foundation down it as she does with her face. Celebrity Being Used: Catherine Zeta-Jones
History: (In-Depth, please) Born to a Slytherin mother and a Ravenclaw father Dorcas lived the first ten years of her life in bliss. An only child, spoiled rotten but always taking her fathers advice. He kept her level headed as a child and she always did her best to make him proud. She was her daddy's girl and nothing in the world would ever change that to either of them.
At the age of seven Dorcas was inducted to a muggle primary school by her mother at her fathers request. Knowing Dorcas was showing magical abilities her father feared her going to Hogwarts, being placed in Slytherin and caving in to the pure-blood-mania they all seemed to live off of. Of course, her mother was an exception to him but really, they were just married now, they weren't husband and wife, they weren't lovers, they were just together out of habit, necessity.
Having grown close to many other children her age Dorcas knew she was always different to her peers at muggle school. Her parents who had always been open to her of what she was did impress the need to keep it a secret. Dorcas hated secrets, she believed them to be wrong, but as her dad had told her 'Some secrets have to be kept' and so she always kept what she and her dad called 'their little secret'.
Finally the time came and Dorcas received her Hogwarts letter. Both her parents were pleased for her. Even her mother who barely spoke a word, expressed how proud she was of her only child, and that coming from her mother, meant more than the world to Dorcas. It was always something she remembered and never forgot.
After the letter came it was time to do the shopping. Both of Dorcas' parents took her to Diagon Alley. They weren't a well off, pure-blooded family, but her father's job paid for them to get by and still have a bit of extra money left over at the end of every year for a special family holiday away to Europe or various places around England, Scotland and Wales.
While buying her first ever wand Dorcas' father slipped out to get them all an ice-cream as a treat. Dorcas could not have been happier. It seemed like they were a real family. Her mum and dad taking her shopping, the way it should be, she had thought to herself. Of course, when one is so happy, things rarely stay that way for long.
Having purchased her wand of Ebony and Dragon heart string, Dorcas had herself and her mother wait out side of Ollivander's for her father's return.
The sky so sunny and bright seemed to turn dull and grey in Dorcas' mind. Dorcas refused to listen to her mother who wanted to leave for home in case her father had been called to work at the ministry.
It was nightfall by the time Dorcas' mother wrapped her arms around the sobbing girl and steered her home.
Once home Dorcas ran to her room and left all the day's purchases at the front door. She threw herself down upon her bed and sobbed until she fell asleep - ignoring her mothers knocking and call for supper.
The next morning Dorcas woke feeling gloomy and upset, a terrible ache in the pit of her stomach. She wanted to see her dad. She knew he wouldn't just leave her like that. Not her. He would never do something like that to her. And she was right. She opened her bedroom door and descended the stairs to the living room. Her mother was in tears and there were two people Dorcas recognised from her father's work. Hit Wizards.
In the muggle world Dorcas knew Hit Wizards to be like police and knew from some of the stories she had read in muggle books that when the police visited your house, something was wrong. Her stomach lurched as she thought of her dad and she stepped into the room in her night clothes. Her mother took her into her arms, wiping back her own tears, half expecting Dorcas to be crying too.
Dorcas was told her father had been killed in Knockturn Alley. Surprisingly she did not cry. Dorcas knew there was something wrong with her father for he had not come back to them at the shop where they had waited. She had done her crying the night before and her red puffy eyes were proof, tear streaks staining her cheeks further evidence of her heartache for her father.
Her mother re-married when Dorcas had turned thirteen and like most teenagers at that age, Dorcas hated her new step-father. She had nothing to do with him and believed him to be trying to replace her father - no one replaced her father. Ever.
Six years on at Hogwarts and Dorcas still had not shed a single tear for anyone or anything. She just can't cry. Try as she might not laughter nor sorrow could bring a tear to her eye and deep down inside of her it was nearly killing her, but she was learning to accept it. Not many knew she just could not cry and it certainly wasn't a fact she broadcasted to the public nor close friends.
Role Play Sample: (In Character, Your average post-length) Usually when I write new posts out for a site it's a million times longer than what I usually do, so here is a recycled postie and a link to the topic it's a part of so you can see it's not a one off length, it's a continuous thing. This is just an example from another site so if the responses here are longer, than of course, my response will be longer too.
Dorcas had arranged with Rhage to be picked up New Years Eve evening and to be driven to the Compound where he lived in order to pick up Abner's things, documents and such. The only problem was, she ended up having to cancel because she'd decided to stay in Saint Mungo's with Alice for the night. There had been no way she could have left Alice alone after the kind of day she'd had, especially after Frank had walked out on her. She had needed some help and support, and Dorcas hoped that was what she had given her friend.
The drive in the limousine was extremely lonely so for a while she talked to Fritz through some kind of muggle, electronic thing. She pressed a button and he could hear her and apparently he pressed a button and she could hear him. It was quite ingenious really. Muggles weren't quite as stupid as they looked nor as stupid as some witches and wizards believed them to be. Though she kind of wished she hadn't spoken to Fritz. Apparently Rhage wasn't going to be there.
Once they were past all the security gates and what not, Fritz escorted her into the mansion and up to the room Abner had spent most of his days at the compound in. Looking around at the various things she gave Fritz a smile and thanked him for his help. In the corner of the room were flat-packed boxes. Fritz left her to her own devices and closed the door behind himself. Without Rhage in the room it seemed so much bigger and there seemed to be a lot more space. Though Rhage dwarfed any room he was in. He was just so large.
Taking out her wand she gave it a flick. The boxes in the corner opened themselves out, ready to accept anything she was to put in them so slowly she started flicking through the paperwork, reading over everything as she went along. It was probably going to take her a while but it wasn't as if she had anything else planned for the evening and she had nothing on tomorrow.
When she was halfway through the paper work there was a knock on the door, she called for whomever it was to come in and it was Fritz with a jug of water and a glass. He asked her if there was anything he could get for her. The honest answer was something a lot stronger than water, but she couldn't say that to him, he was far too kind. So she shook her head and thanked him for his kindness. He seemed to beam at her, grinning from ear to ear as he left. She shook her head and laughed. He was quite the character.
Dorcas had no idea how long she was there for, flipping through paperwork, organising it all into the appropriate boxes to make her life easier for when she got everything back to the ministry, but she needed a break. So she stood, got herself a glass of water and made her way to the window, looking down at the court yard, not expecting to see anything in particular, especially considering it was so dark now, though what the time was she couldn't be sure. Perhaps she'd ask Fritz next time he came by to check in on her.

I really like the history, there's just one thing I'd like you to alter: personality and appearane should be described and a little longer (2 paragrahps I think it was )
