The Order of the Phoenix is gathering again. The war against the dark wizard Grindewald seems minor to what is advancing now. A new Dark Lord is on the rise, ready to kill all the mudbloods out of his way, and become the greatest sorcerer in the world. He is getting more followers by the day and getting stronger with each passing month, Spies are getting bolder and are more of them then ever seen before in Hogwarts alone. But will he succeed? Make sure that you destroy him, together with the Order, or be doomed to get killed by his hand.
MM, let's go backinto the past;;
Month
November
Remember, remember the 5th of November
Guy Fawkes tried to blow up parliament and so, every year on the date of his death, we continue to condemn him (or celebrate him depending on your point of view) to his fiery hell by placing a replica of Guy on top of a huge pile of wood and then setting it on fire. We have some drinks, enjoy ourselves and then watch the sky as fireworks fill our eyes. So yeah . . . just another excuse for a party! Wooooo!!
Points people! Points! A new school year and new points to add!! Congratulations to SLYTHERIN! For winning last years school cup!
And well done to the ORDER! For fending off those Death Eater attacks!
Now lets see what next year holds for us all!
Revamping much?

appearance
Hair, Eye Color: Hair: Not as Dark as his sibling's, a dark brown but speckled at the temples with a little grey Eyes: An indistinct brown. People attempt to apply adjectives but they simply are. No shining with inner tumult, no haunted look, just boring brown with smile lines at the corners. Wears Glasses. Height, Weight: Standing straight, over six foot. On crutches; 5'10. In wheelchair; fourish feet. Possible Avatar Claim: Anthony Stewart Head Physical Description: Julius has a slight child-like quality to his face. He does not appear young, oh no, he is obviously his full 4 years, but he looks innocent. Uncorrupted. Naive...
Were he to stand to his full height, he would reach six foot. Unfortunately, due to his inheritance of many of the recessive traits amongst his inbred family, he is considerably weaker on his left side. Weaker to the point where if he over-exerts himself, which includes a stroll about the estate, he can find his left limbs going into a state of near paralysis. This weakness means that he often requires a wheelchair, and infrequently, when he has rested especially for an occasion, he can manage with crutches. Julius' romantic nature has lead him to often gaze at nothing in particular, lost in his own world and thoughts. He is not as handsome as many of his family, both close and extended, but he has at least inherited some good characteristics and has a rather more modest, but not plain appearance.
Being a Prince he has a set of robes with the sable on black heraldic crest on it. These robes are tailored and of the very best quality, the crest is the more modern one the senior Prince male, or the head of the family was the onlyone permitted to wear the ancient roman standard, while the other males would wear the crest that squires and knights alike had worn centuries before. Julius finds robes particularly hard to dress himself in, however and therefore is most often found in a shirt and jumper or sports jacket with a pair of perfectly pressed trousers and shoes that you could see a silhouette of yourself in. They were not as shined as Tiberius' but the work of the house elf certainly showed. At events he is most likely to be found in one of the infinitely more practical cloaks than robes with a white shirt and black waistcoat underneath. As he is a Prince his cravat or necktie will always be silk, and his tiepin obsidian. He may remove his spectacles for the gatherings, but one can be sure that he will be sporting them by the end of the evening. Julius does take a certain amount of pride in his appearance and would never appear in public or private unshaven. His shoes are always properly laced and neatly tied, a house elf summoned to assist him as his left arm and leg can be 'uncooperative' as julius would put it.
Despite this adversity, Jule has always maintained a rather positive outlook on life, and this shows, smile lines and crows feet are visible on his face, deepening when he offers one of his many smiles, Sheepish, nervous or simply goodnatured. Smiles are the one thing Jule considers himself an expert in.
personality
Likes, Dislikes: Likes:Men. His database: One of his hobbies is an almost obsessive creation of his Database on every Major wizarding Family of Britain, containing detailed knowledge on all the members of that family. It would make an invaluable library for a blackmailer. Enjoys reading Romance novels and a good Bodice Ripper if he can get his hands on one. Chocolate. Company.
Dislikes:Liking men. His reputation. His right arm or leg being held for a long period of time or being trapped. The fact that he never learnt to write properly. Jokes that are purely sexual in nature. Special occassions with meals. He cannot eat in the 'correct' manner and so he feels very self-conscious.
Weaknesses, Strengths: Strengths:Compassionate, Often optimistic, charming and friendly, an astounding memory, despite his shortfalls, is intelligent. Strong area of magic: Levitation, he has needed to be able to levitate and summon objects for most of his life and has become rather proficient at it.
Weaknesses:Has developed an addiction to Calming Draughts. Apologises far too often and often views himself as an obstacle or nuisance to others particularly when he gets into bothersome situations. His naivety. Often gets into sticky situations, like a wheelchair in a bog. Weak area of magic: Anything involving his hands. e.g. Potions, Herbology, CoMC. Anything involving a large deal of magical strength is also difficult for Jule.
Amortentia:The Gardens in the Prince Estate. Books. And a strange coconut smell that he cannot yet identify. THough he has a sneaking suspiscion it is the smell of Healer O'Conagh's hair gel. Things your character doesn't understand: Why love can't just be love. WHy his brother and his Sister-in-law sleep in separate rooms when they are so obviously in love in public. Why he is only allowed to take one calming draught every three hours. Personality Description: Julius is, sadly, easy to forget if one does not hold a proper conversation with him. Unfortunately, due to his reputed illiteracy, stupidity, and the disappointment he caused his Family, very few will offer him more than a condescending wave. Julius knows in his heart that they are patronising him, but cannot bring himself to consciously accept it and so he always returns the waves friendlyly, having learnt a long while ago that a wave is not an invitation to join the conversation. Julius is very hard to upset, but if you know how then it is all too easy.
Julius loves to reminisce, and hardly ever envies those who can play quidditch or climb trees. An effective analogy, would be that favourite uncle who every year arranges an easter egg hunt with clues leading from place to place until finally the location of the egg is revealed. He has in fact, done this and under the watchful eye of Tiberius, followed the action on his crutches or wheelchair. Julius is a nervous man, not overly so, but always wanting to make the best impression and not wanting to disappoint his brother any further. He does everything in his power to be a good brother, obeying Tiberius' every word, or if not, concealing his disobedience.
Where Tiberius excelled as a Slytherin, Julius would not have survived the first term. He is too willing to trust and to believe the best in people. He is by all accounts naive and this is perhaps the one shred of truth in his reputation. He takes betrayal, be it large or small, very badly, and if he should feel he has betrayed someone's trust, will immediately ask for forgiveness. There is more to Julius than quiet words though, if those dear to him are threatened, he can become a very real threat. Though the danger is only to himself. He has managed to surge out of his wheelchair on two occasions, intending to teach those committing the atrocities, a lesson, and both occasions resulted in nasty hexes at his targets and another visit to St. Mungo's and Patrick.
history
Parents/Guardians: Mother: Marie Prince [nee Gibbon], deceased, Elegant Lady of the House and child-bearer Father: Vespasian Augustus Claudius Prince , deceased, Heir to the Prince estate and had fingers in many a Ministry pie.
Other Relatives: Siblings: Tiberius Salvius Severus Prince, 54, Tiberius means the world to Julius. Other: His nephews, Claudius Germanicus Valerian Prince[heir] and Augustus Nero Caligula Prince[spare] and Claudius' son Salvius Tarquin Superbus Prince [heir's heir originally to be called Severus Tarquin Superbus, but Eileen messed that up with her half-blood child] LArge number of extended family. Character History: Julius was born as a 'spare'. It was common enough for the old adage of,"heir and a spare" to be bandied about, at times in front of him. As a child, he had not been able to crawl great distances, nor walk for as long. When he began learning to write, trouble struck. Julius was left-handed. He was not allowed to be left-handed. It was not permissable. He was beaten if he did not use his right hand. Consequently, he learnt one way publicly but when alone wrote with his weak left. Unfortunately he did nnot become ambidextrous, merely found himself unable to properly form the letters and their shapes with either hand.
At eleven he recieved the expected letter, quashing fears that he had shown no magical talent because he had none. At Hogwarts he was sorted into Ravenclaw, not a disappointment to his family as Princes have ever been Ravenclaws or Slytherins. However, he had already gained a reputation for being illiterate and an idiot. To their credit, the ravenclaws did not unconditionally accept this reputation, but his handwriting was brought to the attetnion of the class by an unwitting History of Magic teacher and he was soon pursued by the Headmaster, Armando Dippet to ask whether it would be an idea if someone were to write for him or if he were to attend quick meetings with the Professors to orally answer the Homework questions. Julius was all to happy to accept since he was shunned in the common room for being a percieved idiot in the house of the Intelligent. Indeed some of the seventh years began to place bets, which Julius was blissfully unaware of, as to whether he would be able to answer the required question to enter the Common room. THey ceased betting by christmas when it became clear that that whatever his limitations, he was still a ravenclaw for good reason.
The entire situation was exacerbated, not only by the numerous stairs, but also by his brother, who had graduated the year before he had begun, And had gained a reputation for being cold, intelligent and a prime example of Pureblood supremacy. He left Hogwarts with relatively high passes in all his elective NEWTs. However his OWL results had been particularly confusing, with O in Charms, Transfiguration and academia, but overall grades of P in both Potions and Herbology, his 'written' work displaying a brilliant grasp of the subjects, but his practical work falling far below required levels of competency. While he was attending Hogwarts, his brother married as was expected and fathered a child. A girl, in fact. She was named Eileen and for her childhood was treated remarkably well by a man who held exceedingly conservative, even Victorian, pureblood ideals. Tiberius' firstborn was spoilt rotten by Julius as he would come to do with all his 'nieces and nephews'[some being merely extended family] and passed through Hogwarts with flying colours as her father before her. By this time, Claudius, Heir, had been born. He was Tiberius' pride and joy and adored by everyone who met him. Then Eileen Prince became engaged to a muggle. She was no longer Eileen Prince. She should have been dead to them all, and though Tiberius would never hear talk of her again, it was obvious to those close to him how much it had affected him.
As for Julius, he may have been more tolerant than his brother, but Muggles were Muggles. His pre-existing condition worsened and things finally came to a head when he was informed that she had married and had a son with the man. It was then that she ceased to exist in Tiberius' mind and any leters from her were burned unopened and four owls that delivered the letters with them. She was cut off completely. It was thought that Julius would not be able to understand this properly and he was kept out of the loop. However, one day he had made his way up the grand staircase without assistance but for his crutches and heard Tiberius tell an associate that Eileen's birth certificate was to be burned. Julius was so shocked that he almost cried out, which would have revealed his presence. So he did the instinctive thin and covered his mouth with his hand. Without his right arm supporting him, he fell down 14 steps, head over heels and slid down the rest. His brother immediately dismissed his guest and rushed to his brother's side. The hospital bed beckoned and after treatment it was discovered that it would be very unlikely that he would leave his wheelchair. Ever.
His care was passed to a junior Healer since it was evident that he would be visiting regularly after his first day released from St. Mungo's found him unable to control the wheelchair on the way out, and his pride would not allow Tiberius to push him. This resulted in a return to St. Mungos where his wheelchair was switched to a gurney for four days. HIs second release was more succesful, having been shown how to use his wheelchair one handed before discharged from his Healer's care. He returned to the Prince estate, and continued living there. for the first five years, Tiberius refused to leave him at the Estate alone, meaning without Tiberius. because of this he visited many other Family Estates and began to expand his little hobby in earnest.
Julius still lives at his Brother's Manor, and a small pagoda has been built by the lake so that he may sit there without danger. Since his care was passed to the inexperienced but brilliant Healer Patrick O'Conagh he has made leaps and bounds, so much so that on special occasions, he has been able to use his crutches for a short time and even regained some of the use of his left arm.
A Day in the life of Julius Prince [THis is a terribly exciting day for Jule. Mostly he sits around and reads or watches the ducks]
Jule had never really understood Ruggers. Yes it was a Muggle sport, but apparently there was a wizarding league and when Patrick offered him the chance to see them at a game he accepted. Not immediately you understand, he had to pretend that he was not interested in a group of young men running around and hugging each other about the waist and rolling in mud. Just thinking about the description that Patrick had given made him blush a little.
At first he had been horrified when the first minute involved a six foot-eight giant with a chest as broad as the pitch, throwing himself at Patrick's midriff and then seemingly trying to bury him alive in a mound of his team-mates. He had inadvertantly caused a time-out by becoming incredible distressed until Patrick hopped to his feet, sidled over and explained the rules, which to Julius seemed to consist of, attack anyone who has touched the ball and then attempt to sit on them. if you broke the rules everyone gathered together in a 'scrump' and attempted headbutt the other team's shoulders and then push them over the top of the elliptical ball. He could see that it was more aerodynamic, but surely not worth all the trouble it caused when it hit the ground and bounced around in the most incorrigible manner.
But Julius was not about to complain. He had a front row a\seat and while others booed and cheered and commented on the referee's blindness, he was just enjoying the game. Where teams of fit young men in skimpy, tight shorts and shirts that showed off their rippling muscles, seemed to have some kind of bacchanalian revel in front of a crowd of people. It was all terribly exciting and he was sad to see it end.
Until Patrick walked over, completely shirtless, drenched with sweat and mud and carrying a large sports bag. As he was wheeled back to the Estate, they talked about the game and the tries for a score, [which he was not allowed to call attempts and which apparently had all been successful, baffling him somewhat] and the various knockings and convertings of the game. It had by all accounts been a very enjoyable evening, and he apologised for his early interruption to play. Patrick, darling that he was, forgave him unconditionally and asked if he wanted to watch their foray into the quarter finals. Apparently his team had won the match. Which surprised him quite a lot since they had seemed to be the ones that had been beaten up most. He had no idea how the scoring worked either, Patrick's team had scored on all of their tries, but the other side had kicked the ball between the two poles far more often. Confused by all this but in a happy daze, Julius accepted the offer readily, adding an unnecessary,"As long as both teams are of strapping young lads."
It is not nesscary for me to convince the first years that the new password to Gryffinndor tower is "Petrificus Totalus" and must be recited with their wands pointed at themselves: goosed by teh famous Reila Thomas Surely that should be,"It IS necessary...
